I am a Craft Beer Guide
(and nerd)
First and foremost, I want to let you know, I am not a Craft Beer snob; I think that title can be off putting to those not acquainted with craft beer, and start to associate us with that all-too-deplorable stereotype of a wine snob. While working at a tasting room, I saw how this attitude can turn people away from the art and craft of beer.
I think of myself as a Craft Beer Guide. I love to teach and guide people through the maze of a shelf of craft beer. I find a personal satisfaction in pouring a Farmhouse Saison into a Belgian tulip with the right amount of head and the explaining why they may smell white pepper, lemon zest and yeasty funk from the fizzing broth below.
